Supported Living offers 24 hour support and care for people with a learning and/or physical disability and enduring mental health problems. Our on-site teams provide 24hr care and support and offer bespoke packages to people either in a small shared home or a larger scheme where people have self-contained accommodation. All customers have their own tenancy and receive an individual package of care and support based on their assessed needs, interests and aspirations. We work with our customers to ensure you are able to maintain a safe and healthy lifestyle.
Shared Lives is a relatively little known alternative to a supported living / residential setting. The Shared Lives service enables people who have a disability to live an ordinary family life. Shared Lives carers are recruited, trained, approved and matched with people who they then support and invite to share their homes and all aspects of family life.
Extra Care is delivered by MioCare in partnership with Housing and Care 21 and Oldham Council across four schemes in Oldham. Extra Care is housing designed with the needs of frailer and older people in mind. People in Extra Care have their own self-contained homes with their own front doors and access to on-site personal care which is delivered by MioCare Services.

We feel part of a bigger team who are helping adults who need our support. It is incredibly rewarding and I’d recommend it to anyone who can offer their time and home.
